ZeOmega-Nandini-Rangaswamy

Nandini Rangaswamy, MBA

Chairman of the Board - EVP and Chief Strategy Officer, ZeOmega

Ms. Rangaswamy has a background in management consulting with work experience that spans several industries including Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals, Travel and Telecom.

Prior to joining ZeOmega, she worked at Accenture in the Corporate Strategy, Mergers & Acquisitions Group. Her work included advising clients on M&A;, strategy, identifying potential acquisition candidates, valuing candidates, analyzing deals and conducting due diligence. Her work also included prioritizing performance improvement initiatives for clients through assessment of economic impact of operational and financial value drivers. Before transitioning into management consulting, Ms. Rangaswamy worked at The Sabre Group and Abbot Laboratories, leading IT projects at both companies.

Ms. Rangaswamy holds an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering from Bangalore University.

Phil Yates

Partner at Bregal Sagemount

Phil Yates is a Partner at Bregal Sagemount. Prior to this, Philip was with Great Hill Partners from 2003 to 2012 where he focused on growth investments in software and technology-enabled services across the healthcare, payments, business services and consumer verticals. Before Great Hill Partners, Philip was an Associate at Carousel Capital, a middle market LBO firm headquartered in Charlotte, NC where he worked on transactions in franchising, healthcare, industrials and communications. Philip also worked as an Analyst with Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown in the Consumer and Business Services investment banking group. Philip holds a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Anna Haghgooie

Managing Director, Sandbox Industries

Anna Haghgooie joined the Board of Directors of ZeOmega in 2012. Ms. Haghgooie is a Managing Director of Sandbox Industries, a venture capital firm and business incubator based in Chicago that creates, develops and invests in new businesses. The firm is the exclusive manager for BlueCross BlueShield Venture Partners, investing in healthcare-related startups on their behalf. In addition to serving on the Board for ZeOmega, she serves on the Boards of Directors for Change Healthcare Corporation and EveryMove. She is also a Board Observer for AllTuition, Essence Group and Myca.

Ms. Haghgooie was previously the General Manager at an integrative healthcare start-up where she helped the company streamline operations and prepare for growth. Previously she held positions as an Associate Director of Corporate Finance at Fitch Ratings, covering the Healthcare Sector and as a member of the Financial Management Program at General Electric.

Ms. Haghgooie earned an MBA, with honors, from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and a BBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business.

ZeOmega-Sathya-Sam-Rangaswamy

Sathya “Sam” Rangaswamy, MS

Founder and CEO, ZeOmega

Mr. Rangaswamy is an entrepreneur who has founded and managed web hosting and e-commerce ventures. Prior to founding ZeOmega, he worked at American Airlines and The Sabre Group where he led and delivered web-based solutions for Air New Zealand, Swiss Air, American Airlines, Carlson Travel and Travelocity.

He has architected business process and content management solutions for Gartner Inc., servicing over 25 channel events such as RetailVision and Midsize Enterprise Vision.

During the dot-com era he was Vice President of Technology for a medical management start-up where he architected and developed automated fax and web based preauthorization solutions using decision tree based algorithms for medical management. He has extensive experience in conceptualizing and reengineering business processes for medical management, event management and content management.

Mr. Rangaswamy has several publications to his credit including “The design of fuzzy constraint based controller for a dynamic control system,” which was accepted at the International Joint Conference of the 4th IEEE conference on Fuzzy Systems held in Yokohama, Japan in 1995.

Other publications include “Connecting Stakeholders to Improve Care” in ADVANCE for Health IT Executives, which discusses the role of payers and technology platforms to support medical homes, and “Transition care management” in Managed Healthcare Executive, which discusses an opportunity for payers to manage costs and improve quality of care.

Mr. Rangaswamy holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from North Carolina State University, Raleigh, North Carolina, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from The Manipal Institute of Technology.

ZeOmega-Christopher-Matthews-MD

Dr. Christopher Mathews, MD

SVP and Chief Medical Officer, ZeOmega

Dr. Christopher Mathews, MD is Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer for ZeOmega, and serves on the Board of Directors. He is a board certified internal medicine physician and physician executive with over 25 years experience in health care delivery systems and managed care.

Dr. Mathews is highly experienced in design and implementation of efficient, high quality clinical and operational programs, provider-payer relations, and value-driven patient care delivery. He comes to ZeOmega from Lovett Collins Associates, where he served as a Senior Consultant. He also served as Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer for the Community Health Network (CHNW) and the Community Health Plan of Washington State (CHPW), as well as Medical Director for Healthcare Review for Qualis Health. He was also a medical director for Group Health in Seattle, and served as chief medical officer, chief operating officer and interim chief executive officer at Pacific Medical Center and Clinics in the Seattle area.

Dr. Mathews earned his Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology degree from the University of Washington, and Doctor of Medicine degree from the John A. Burns School of Medicine at the University of Hawaii.
