ZeOmega® Achieves Significant Growth and Product Innovation in 2017
New Solutions and Key Platform Enhancements Drive Rapid Adoption of Jiva™ 6.1
Plano, Texas – January 11, 2018 – ZeOmega®, a market leader in population health management solutions, had a banner year for growth and product innovation in 2017, highlighted by a sharp uptick in implementations of its flagship platform, Jiva™ 6.1.
Various enhancements included in Jiva 6.1 have driven much of this recent growth. Among the most in-demand features are new capabilities that facilitate clinical data integration between electronic health records (EHRs), utilization management solutions, and other sources of clinical and financial information. More specifically, ZeOmega has introduced enhanced support for Consolidated-Clinical Document Architecture (C-CDA) standards, automated rules for deriving insights from EHR data, and methods for enriching care plans with clinical information and patient preferences.
In 2017, ZeOmega also rolled out Jiva Predictive Analytics, a highly accurate predictive analytics solution that leverages social determinants of health to assess and stratify patient risk. Jiva for Medicare Advantage, a new solution, enables the effective management of the Medicare Advantage population while also ensuring that clients no longer need worry about meeting Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) requirements for compliance and audit, and ClicBank, a solution that facilitates clinical content configuration and management, have attracted considerable interest as well.
Nine large health organizations from across the United States, both new and existing ZeOmega clients, completed implementations of Jiva 6.1 in 2017. These implementations spanned Medicare Advantage, Managed Medicaid, hospital systems, commercial health plans, and many other lines of business.

The program trains and certifies consultants from third-party organizations, giving them the knowledge and skills to help ZeOmega expand its Jiva implementation and support capacity. In 2017 alone, ZeOmega certified more than 100 consultants from 16 organizations.
ZeOmega continues to prioritize reinvesting a sizable share of its revenues in innovation, partnering with its clients to make Jiva better every year. To support this objective, last July, it invited clinical informatics expert Dr. Sivakumaran Raman to join the executive team as its Chief Analytics Officer. Dr. Raman has already made significant contributions to the Jiva platform.
All ZeOmega’s solutions comply with the highest industry standards and best practices, as Jiva’s long list of certifications and accreditations attests. In the past year, Jiva 6.1 earned certification from The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) for five Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS®) 2017 Measures, as well as ONC Health IT 2014 Edition modular certification. ZeOmega itself received full accreditation from the Direct Trusted Agent Accreditation Program (DTAAP) as a Health Information Service Provider (HISP).
