Alliance Behavioral Healthcare Selects Jiva as Its Population Health Management Platform

Durham-based MCO to Manage More Than 200,000 Medicaid-eligible North Carolinians with Solution from ZeOmega®

PLANO, Texas – September 6, 2017 –Alliance Behavioral Healthcare, a managed care organization (MCO) based in Durham, NC, has chosen Jiva from ZeOmega as its new population health management platform. Responsible for more than 200,000 high-risk and underserved residents of North Carolina’s Durham, Wake, Cumberland, and Johnston counties, Alliance will use Jiva to manage services across its network of nearly 2,200 providers.

Alliance manages publicly funded behavioral health services for Medicaid-eligible and uninsured North Carolinians with mental health conditions, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and substance use issues. In the early stages of its implementation, Jiva will help Alliance track and analyze provider performance, identify high-risk and underserved members, and manage resources to combat the growing opioid epidemic.
