MDwise Upgrades to ZeOmega®’s Latest Population Health Management Platform Jiva 6.1

Longstanding Client Looks to Deliver Enhanced Risk Stratification, Improved Payer/Provider Collaboration, and More Efficient Management of Complex Clinical Content

Plano, Texas – November 7, 2017 – MDwise, an Indiana-based nonprofit healthcare company and longstanding ZeOmega client, recently went live with ZeOmega®‘s end-to-end population health management (PHM) platform, JivaTM 6.1. MDwise cares for families in Indiana, working with the Indiana State Government and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to provide the Hoosier Healthwise Plan, the Healthy Indiana Plan, and MDwise Marketplace health insurance programs. A key goal MDwise hopes to accomplish with their latest upgrade to Jiva 6.1 is the improvement of their utilization management (UM). The level of automation they will now be receiving with Jiva 6.1’s dashboards will save them time, allow better caseload balancing, and help supervisors heighten the management of their support teams.

MDwise has also added an appeals module with their upgrade. Using Jiva 6.1’s streamlined, automated workflow, nurses will have more time to manage cases and have a cleaner pathway for reporting, tracking actions, following state reports, and managing other vital information.

Regarding care management, MDwise is implementing Jiva 6.1’s integrated assessments with the goal of simplifying NCQA audits, accreditation, and the application of other quality measures.
