Sam Rangaswamy, MS
An entrepreneur with a successful track record in web hosting and e-commerce ventures, Sam founded ZeOmega in 2001 to address the need for a better way for health plans to conduct care management.
Since that time, he has evolved the company to become an industry leader in technology-enabled solutions for population health management.
Prior to founding ZeOmega, Sam led web-based solutions for American Airlines and The Sabre Group, including Air New Zealand, Swiss Air, Carlson Travel, and Travelocity. His background also includes development of business process and content management solutions for Gartner Inc., and Vice President of Technology for a medical management start-up where he designed and developed automated fax and web-based preauthorization solutions using decision tree-based algorithms.
Sam’s extensive experience in conceptualizing and reengineering business processes for medical management, event management, and content management has led to several publications, including “The design of fuzzy constraint-based controller for a dynamic control system,” which was accepted at the International Joint Conference of the 4th IEEE conference on Fuzzy Systems held in Yokohama, Japan. Other publications include “Connecting Stakeholders to Improve Care” in ADVANCE for Health IT Executives, and “Transition Care Management” in Managed Healthcare Executive.
Sam earned his MS in Computer Science from North Carolina State University, and his BS in Industrial Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology.
