Karen Iapoce, Senior Director of Government Solutions at ZeOmega, has 30+ years’ experience in strategic healthcare. Over the years, her titles have ranged from RN to Senior VP of Clinical Operations and Director of Government Solutions. Karen is a clinical leader, trainer, and liaison experienced in driving innovations in quality, products, metrics, revenue, and cost. She has expertise in Medicaid, Medicare, Social Determinants of Health, and federal/state regulations and their application within payer/provider environments.

As Chief Nursing Officer, Sandra leads Clinical Content Development for ZeOmega, overseeing all aspects of the development, use, and interpretation of clinical content and intelligence. She also helps architect strategy for population health management and value-based solutions, as well as ensuring compliance with all state, federal, and local regulations, laws, standards, and protocols.

Sandra joined ZeOmega in 2012, bringing with her over 25 years of experience as a pediatric nurse and certified case manager in the provider, payer, and vendor domains. Prior to joining ZeOmega, she served as Director of Care Management in a large health system and statewide health plan serving the needs of Medicare and Medicaid populations, overseeing case, disease, and utilization management programs. She has also directed care management programs for the U.S. military’s healthcare system.
